Local Construction Materials and Techniques

Elements and materials that are very characteristic of the architecture in our region, along with the lush nature of Trancoso, are the main focus of our work.

 

Sawn and round timber, new and reclaimed wood, wooden shingles (tiles), piaçava roofing, natural burnt cement, natural fibers, clay, raw earth, rammed earth, wattle and daub, rustic finishes mixed with contemporary materials.
